A shared love for family, nature, traveling and art motivated us to start “Unique Calendars”. Ever since technology empowered us with digital printing we had made personal calendars for family and friends. When some of them asked us whether we could make the same for their family and friends the idea for “Unique Calendars” was born as a natural evolution to our book publishing business.

Yvonne grew up in Zürich, Switzerland. She studied at University of Zürich finishing with a degree in education while pursuing her passion for the arts by taking classes at the Zürich Art School in painting, drawing and printing techniques. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her into ventures from owning and operating a restaurant, a motel, an art gallery and a computer school until she emigrated to Canada with her partner where they started a publish on demand business.

Raeto grew up in St. Moritz, Switzerland where he worked part time as a mountain guide and ski instructor. His love for the mountains turned him into an avid photographer. After studying mathematics at ETH (Technical University in Zurich) he worked in the computer field for more than 25 years doing everything from programming to project management and art design.
